Nette River Trail
Nette is a 55 km long, relatively small river which flows into the Rhine between Andernach and Weißenturm. In 2008 / 2009 the "Deutscher Anglerverband (German Fishing Association) and Naturfreunde Deutschland (Friends of Nature Germany) nominated the wild and romantic brook valley of the Nette as "river landscape of the year". The municipalities of neighboring Weißenturm and Andernach have recently established an 8 km hiking- and walking trail along the Nette River.

Description
Nette River Trail only takes you along established routes, all of which run closely to the course of the river. Left of Nette river, the trail is a combination of bicycle and pedestrian path (Volcano Park Bicycle Trail). The entire course of the trail is family friendly.

Entrances to the trail with on site parking, access to public transportation and informations boards are located in Miesenheim, near the stadium of Andernach and in Weißenthurm.
