Andernach

Andernach is an attractive town in the Middle Rhine Valley, it lies just where the river Rhine meets the area known as the Eifel. Andernach has been an important town since the Romans were here more than 2.000 years ago. It boasts the highest cold water geyser in the world and has recently pioneered a revolutionary project in the use of its green areas, known as “Essbare Stadt” – the edible town.
