Gate of Koblenz (Koblenzer Tor)
The Koblenzer Tor, which is also referred to as "Burgpforte" (castle gate), was built around 1200. It secured the castle and served as a representative entrance to the city. However, it was also destroyed in 1689, during the War of the Palatine Succession. The Koblenzer Tor was refurbished in 2012.
